Travel Co Ordinator

We are delighted to be working with this award winning DMC, who is looking for a Travel Cooridnator to manage group and FIT tours throughout the UK and Europe, ideally someone who speaks German or French and has experience of designing tour itineraries throughout the UK.

This role is offered with hybrid working options.

The role of Travel Coordinator will involve:

Managing all parts of group travel from planning, coasting, and operating programs for groups tours

Building relationships with clients

Booking & negotiating services in accordance with the itineraries with best rate and conditions
( hotels, coaches, guides, restaurants, entrances etc.) and ensure accurate details are input in to the company in house system (Tourplan)

Invoicing clients ensuring supplier invoices are cross-checked against Tour Plan and
liaise with the company Finance team.

Maintaining day to day contact with clients, providing the best feedback or options to the
required itineraries.

Emergency mobile cover will be required on a rota basis

Do you have the skills for the Travel Coordinator position:

At least 1 years experience creating tours and managing group tours throughout the UK and (and Europe is a plus)

Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Previous experience within the travel industry with working knowledge of France.

Languages: German or French and English, (The European Language would be advantageous but not essential)

A background in the UK Travel and Tourism industry is advantageous

Travel or Tourism management, Event Management would be a benifical background.
