We are seeking an inspiring and committed Female Head of Physical Education to lead and develop our thriving PE department. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious professional who is passionate about promoting physical health, teamwork, and leadership and who is ready to shape the future of sports provision at our academy.

The Role:

  • Lead the PE department with vision, ambition, and a passion for excellence.

  • Develop and deliver a dynamic and inclusive PE curriculum from KS3 through KS5.

  • Drive participation in both curriculum and extracurricular sports, ensuring high-quality opportunities for all students.

  • Lead, motivate and develop a dedicated team of PE teachers and sports coaches.

  • Champion the values of health, well-being, and active lifestyles within the school community.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have strong leadership experience.

  • Be an outstanding practitioner with a proven track record of raising standards in PE.

  • Have experience in developing and delivering a broad and balanced PE curriculum.

  • Be committed to inclusion, promoting engagement from all students, and fostering talent.

  • Be a strong role model, with excellent communication and leadership skills.

  • Embrace and uphold the inclusive Sikh ethos of the Academy.
