Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Canary Wharf, East London
£42,000 - £46,000
Excellent role for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to work on a prestigious site based in Canary Wharf, East London. You'll be joining a long standing, well reputable building service provider, be provided valuable career experience, be provided additional training and be part of a fantastic, well experienced team.
As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will ensure all planned preventative and reactive maintenance are carried out on M&E systems, actively fault find and troubleshoot, liaise with subcontractors, ensure all logbooks are up to date and ensure the client is happy with the service provided. This is a static position, following a fixed schedule of Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
To be successful in the Electrical Maintenance Engineer role, you will need to be fully qualified in Electrical Installations / Engineering (City and Guilds / EAL / NVQ or equivalent), have at least 3 years experience in commercial maintenance and respond positively with the client on site.

Electrical Maintenance Engineer Duties:
- PPMs & Reactive maintenance
- Single and Three Phase Power, Motors, Generators (on/off load tests), LV/HV switching, Shutdowns, Switchgear, Motors, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm Test, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, Sprinkler Systems, Pumps, Belts, Bearings, Seals, BMS Operation
- Carry out isolation of plant and systems in accordance with safety requirements.
- Ensure corrective/repair works are carried out in accordance with regulations.
- Endorse safe working practices, quality standards conformity and best practice methods.
Electrical Maintenance Engineer Requirements:
- Fully qualified in Electrical Installations / Engineering (City and Guilds / EAL / NVQ or equivalent)
- At least 3 years experience in commercial maintenance
- Great communication skills
- Great attitude
- Apprentice trained would be desirable
Salary and Package:
- £42,000 - £46,000
- Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
