Are you an innovative and enthusiastic Mechanical Design Engineer looking for an exciting new challenge? We are seeking a talented individual to join a dynamic engineering team, working on cutting-edge solutions for a variety of industries.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the full product development cycle, from initial concept through to market launch. Youll be working in a fast-paced environment, using your mechanical engineering expertise to design and develop high-quality components and assemblies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components using CAD software.
• Apply mechanical engineering principles, including solid mechanics, to solve complex design challenges.
• Work with machining processes such as CNC and sheet metal fabrication.
• Ensure designs meet BS8888 standards, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
• Prototype and test designs to verify performance and reliability.
• Collaborate closely with other engineers to take products from concept to production.
• Support new product introduction (NPI) processes.
• Work effectively within a team while also being proactive when working independently.

What Were Looking For

• Degree educated in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience with CAD design, prototyping, and testing.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of electronics is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• An organised, creative thinker with a keen eye for detail.
