Shift: 2pm-10pm (Core) with flexibility to cover 7am-10pm shifts

Location: Bedford

Pay Rate: £15 per hour

We're looking for a motivated Transport Administrator to join a busy logistics operation based in Bedford. This role focuses on transport administration, supporting the smooth coordination of deliveries and transport activities through effective paperwork management, communication, and operational support.

Key Responsibilities for Transport Administrator:

• Managing all transport administration tasks including preparing shipping documents, invoices, and driver logs
• Booking and coordinating deliveries, updating transport schedules, and maintaining accurate records
• Handling same-day, late, and international order processing
• Booking third-party couriers and chasing Proof of Delivery (POD) to ensure timely delivery confirmation
• Providing excellent customer service and liaising with drivers to resolve transport issues
• Cross-training across warehouse goods in and despatch administration to provide full operational cover

What You'll Need:

• Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail in transport administration
• Comfortable working both in the office and warehouse environment
• Good IT skills with experience using Excel and administrative software
• Effective communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving approach
• Previous transport administration or logistics experience is advantageous but not essential
• Flexibility to work across different shifts as required
