We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our educational team in Towcester. This role offers a temp to perm opportunity, starting immediately after the October half term. It is ideal for someone passionate about supporting students' educational journeys and providing tailored learning assistance.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Assist in the classroom under the direction of the lead teacher, helping to implement lesson plans and educational activities.
• Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional assistance with their learning tasks.
• Help manage classroom resources and setup, ensuring a conducive learning environment for all students.
• Support the teacher in monitoring student progress and behaviour, providing feedback and observations that help tailor future teaching strategies.
• Facilitate small group sessions for students needing extra help in specific areas, such as reading, writing, or maths.
• Engage with students to foster a positive and supportive learning environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role, supporting learning in an educational setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with students and staff.
• A proactive and patient approach to student learning and development.
• Ability to work flexibly and adapt to the needs of the students and the school.
• Relevant qualifications in education or a related field are advantageous.
