The company:Working as part of a 7-days-a-week shift team, the role will ensure the effective provision of proactive and reactive services to the wastewater treatment plant, supplemented by services and management of the general grounds with a focus on auditing and management of waste streams and general porterage tasks in an efficient and courteous manner, with a strong focus on customer care.
Essential duties and responsibilities:

To ensure the waste water treatment plant area is maintained in a clean and tidy state, by carrying out general housekeeping on a daily basis

To ensure regular monitoring and supervision of the operation of the plant.

Ensure a proactive approach to the cleaning and monitoring of the plant

Proactive removal of materials and waste such as pallets, chemicals and bales to the correct storage locations

Monitoring of waste storage areas to ensure collections by external contractors are achieved in a timely manner and that other contractors are keeping the area in a tidy and safe manner.

Supervision of chemical and acid deliveries

Skills and Experience required:

Experience in a similar role

Practical experience must include general inspection, maintenance, porterage and repair tasks.

Forklift Licence

Knowledge and experience in a facilities management environment.
