Quotation Clerk Role

Location: South East London

Full Time, Fully site based

Permanent basis

I am currently working with a large contractor in South East London, the recruiting of a Quotation Clerk.

You will report directly to a Facilities Manager and the day to day responsibilities will include:

• Responsible for ensuring profitable quotes for works are submitted on time
• Liaise with project teams and supply chain to obtain costs and programmes to support quotes
• Carry out site visits as necessary to properly ascertain scope of works
• Maintaining the quote trackers
• Regular interface with our clients and their teams
• Assist with compiling monthly applications to our clients
• Assist with compiling monthly payment notices to sub-contractors

Skills/ Expertise

• Ideally 3-5 years' experience in a similar role
• A team player, operating cooperatively and effectively with others to set goals, resolve problem, and make decisions that enhance organisational effectiveness
• Communicates effectively and able to speak, listen and write in good English and in a clear, thorough and timely manner using appropriate and effective communication techniques and tools
• IT proficient in MS Office, particularly in Excel and Word
