Supply Desk are seeking a passionate Geography Teacher, whether an ECT or more experienced teacher, to join a popular and well-established secondary school in Gillingham. Position Overview:

The school is looking for a dynamic Geography Teacher to deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4, with the possibility of KS5 depending on experience. You will take on full teaching responsibilities, including planning, assessing, and supporting students in achieving their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the Geography curriculum.
• Inspire students to develop a passion for Geography through engaging and innovative teaching methods.
• Monitor, assess, and report on student progress, providing tailored support to meet individual needs.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment, promoting respect and collaboration.
• Work collaboratively with the Geography department and contribute to wider school activities.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an ECT with a strong understanding of Geography.
• Have excellent subject knowledge and the ability to deliver lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience is desirable but not essential).
• Be committed to creating an engaging and supportive learning environment.
• Have excellent classroom management skills and a proactive, flexible approach to teaching.
• Possess a valid Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
