The RoleWe are seeking a caring and dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a primary school in Brent. This is a term-time only role, working Monday to Friday, supporting pupils with SEN and ASD on a one-to-one or small group basis. You will play a vital role in helping pupils engage with learning, develop confidence, and achieve personal and academic progress.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting children with ASD and other additional needs in class and during activities.
- Adapting learning materials and approaches to suit individual needs.
- Encouraging positive behaviour, independence, and confidence.
- Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to implement individual learning plans.
- Promoting a safe, caring, and inclusive learning environment.

Desirable qualifications and skills:
- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
- Experience with PECS, Makaton, or similar communication systems.
