Housing and Support Assistant LOCATION: Uxbridge
DURATION: Permanent
Salary: £25,500k
HOURS: 30 and 40 Hours available (Including weekends)
Start date: End of May / Early June
About the role: Our client is a leading provider of supported housing in London and beyond, providing a safe place to stay to young and vulnerable people. They provide housing and support to those in need of a place to call home.
- Assisting the Housing and Support team to deliver high-quality housing and support to our residents
- Be the first point of contact for their residents and visitors responding to a range of queries
- Duties will include assisting the Housing Support Officers with their caseload, sorting post, logging repairs and processing payments & helping to keep the building safe.
- The job holder will be trained to become a designated first aider as well as fire marshal and responsible for evacuating the building during emergencies.
- They will also be carrying out regular patrols, including Wellbeing and Facilities checks of key areas throughout their shift.
- Deliver activities and workshops to support the young people, i.e. CV Writing, Cooking, budgeting.
