Role Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Store Operations Manager to lead a high-profile retail store in Central London. This key role combines day-to-day retail leadership with strategic operational oversight, offering the chance to drive performance and shape customer experience in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will manage all aspects of store operations, team leadership, and customer engagement.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead the store team to deliver strong sales performance and an excellent customer experience
  • Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and development to store staff
  • Manage staffing schedules, costs, and store compliance to ensure efficient operations
  • Oversee inventory accuracy, stock levels, and loss prevention measures
  • Collaborate with wider teams to support marketing campaigns and promotional activities
  • Ensure store visuals and merchandising reflect current priorities and seasonal focuses
  • Collect and utilise customer data in line with regulations to inform in-store strategies
  • Support a positive store culture and contribute to brand-led community engagement initiatives
  • Manage store operations budget and lead the implementation of operational strategies, making prompt modifications as needed to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensure smooth daily operations by enforcing established procedures and regularly updating employee handbooks and training documentation.

Requirements

  • Over four years of experience in retail management, preferably within the fashion or lifestyle sector, with strong expertise in store operations and team leadership.
  • Proven ability to manage and develop high-performing teams
  • Strong organisational and communication skills with a keen eye for detail
  • A natural leader with a hands-on, can-do approach to problem solving and customer engagement
  • Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as part of a monthly rota
