We seek an investment Assistant who will be responsible for supporting the smooth and efficient operation of our clients model portfolio service and its discretionary investment manager partners This role provides end-to-end support, from adviser onboarding through to ongoing training, guidance, and operational management, ensuring wrapper accuracy and overall efficiency.

Acting as a dedicated point of contact for the discretionary investment managers and the advisers, the Model portfolio service Assistant will play a key role in resolving issues and embedding the MPS across the business.With effective communication.

Once onboarded link DIM models to IFA firm on IAS and confirm to the advisors.

Provide newly signed-up IFA firms with initial TOL training and support

Experience and qualifications

  • Minimum A levels or equivalent.
  • Good understanding of the UK Financial Services / Investment industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and comfortable using new systems and platforms. Previous experience in an operational, client support, or adviser support role within financial services or wealth management.
  • Previous platform experience working with wrappers and investments such as Pensions, ISAs, Unit Trusts, Bonds and OEICS.
  • Display a positive, 'can-do' attitude.
  • Ability to work proactively as well as reactively.
  • Ability to "warm" call advisers signed up to the MPS, looking to embed the service secure training opportunities for either yourself or the MPS Manager.
  • Ability to inspire confidence in our clients with your ability to complete important tasks in a timely manner.

Presentable and confident individual with an eye for detail

  • Desirable:
  • Working towards (or willingness to work towards) relevant investment qualifications, e.g. CISI Investment Operations Certificate (IOC), CII R02 Investment Principles, or equivalent.
  • Good understanding of Transact and the wrap industry.
  • Familiarity with Managed Portfolio Services (MPS), model portfolio management, or discretionary investment management.
