Warehouse Assistant

- You must be able to attend work daily in Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire your application will not be considered if you do have your own transport and do not live in the area.

Our client one of the UK's largest Retailers and Multinational clothing, footwear and home products retailer both online and on the high street they have some exciting opportunities to work in their new purpose-built Photographic Studios in Leighton Buzzard.

We are currently seeking a Warehouse Assitant working within the Warehouse.

Warehouse Assistant Working primarily within the warehouse you will need to have good attention to detail and ensure accuracy in everything you do; you also need to be quick and respond to requests effectively and ensure that you are able to deal with a fast-paced environment. You will need to scan any items that are moved or relocated to ensure a clear audit trail of all goods in from the Warehouse to the Studio Floor

You could also be responsible for assembling various types of furniture, including but not limited to chairs, tables, cabinets, and beds. You will work closely with a team of skilled craftsmen to ensure that all furniture is assembled to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

- Utilise a warehouse scanning system and the ability to follow instructions

- Maintain a clean and organized workspace

- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines

- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise

- Assist with loading and unloading pieces from delivery trucks

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a warehouse environment

- Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions and diagrams

- Strong attention to detail and quality

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

- Ability to lift and move heavy furniture pieces. You will also be required to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods.

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position based in Leighton Buzzard UK. The work schedule is typically Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
