CNC Machine Operator

Thrive Group are delighted to be working with our client in Westbury who are actively seeking to recruit a CNC Machine Setter / Operator on a permanent basis.

What you will be doing:

Reporting to the General Manager, you will be working in the machine shop, working a variety of small batch production work.

• Setting and operating CNC machine.
• Milling and turning.
• Wide variety of new machines and measuring equipment

What you will need to succeed:

• Used to working in an engineering environment working with metals.
• Must be capable of working with drawings and tight tolerances.

• Ability read engineering drawings and follow written instructions.
• Knowledge of working in a high precision engineering environment.
• Experience of programming CNC machines would be desirable, to set and operate machinery.
