Repairs Supervisor
Location: Enfield and Surrounding North London Area
Salary: £24 per hour (£160 per day after tax)+ Company Vehicle & Fuel Card

With numerous contracts already in progress and more in the pipeline, we are expanding our team and looking for a skilled Repairs Supervisor to oversee our operatives in the Enfield area.
Role Overview:
As the Repairs Supervisor, you will lead a team of around 12 operatives responsible for carrying out day-to-day repairs in occupied social housing. Your primary focus will be on ensuring efficient and effective service delivery while maintaining excellent customer satisfaction levels. You will play a critical role in coordinating operations, managing resources, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage a team of operatives performing day-to-day repairs in occupied housing.
- Coordinate repair schedules and allocate tasks to ensure efficiency and timely completion.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to ensure work meets company and regulatory standards.
- Prepare detailed reports on job progress, issues encountered, and resolutions.
- Order and manage materials and supplies required for repair work.
- Liaise with tenants to address concerns and maintain clear communication.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations throughout all operations.
- Foster a positive team environment and provide mentorship and support to team members.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in social housing, either in a hands-on repair role or in a supervisory/management capacity.
- Strong understanding of repairs and maintenance processes within occupied housing.
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with tenants and team members.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and resolving issues on-site.
- Valid driver s license and willingness to travel within the Enfield and surrounding areas.
