Freelance Quantity Surveyor

Role Overview

As the Quantity Surveyor, you will be site-based, ensuring the smooth delivery of this prestigious project. You'll manage project finances, oversee valuations, liaise with stakeholders, and provide accurate cost reporting to drive the project's success.

Responsibilities:

• Manage project budgets, costs, and financial performance.
• Conduct regular valuations and cost reporting.
• Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with contractual agreements.
• Mitigate risks and resolve disputes efficiently.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within main contractor roles.
• Strong understanding of new build projects, preferably at similar value (£10m).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Available for an immediate start and able to commit for 6 months.
