We are seeking a Buying Assistant to join our fast-growing team within the fast fashion industry. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop a career in buying within an internationally expanding business. The ideal candidate will work closely with the manager to ensure the smooth operation of the buying processes.
Day-to-day of the role: - Support the buyer with initial development, cost price enquiries, and negotiations.
- Assist the buying team with their administrative work.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate information in all relevant systems and databases.
- Analyse the fashion market and customer activity through competitive shops, sales, and trends.
- Contribute to weekly trade meetings with best seller reports.
- Assist in weekly Product meetings.
- Perform ad hoc duties, providing full administrative support to the fashion buying team.
Required Skills & Qualifications: - Background in fashion is essential.
- Ability to solve problems and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work well under pressure.
- Capable of working unsupervised using your own initiative.
