Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer. The company is involved in a broad range of projects across the UK, including sectors such as education, healthcare, commercial, residential, leisure, and specialist environments.

Role Responsibilities
- Design and specification of electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, emergency systems, and low-carbon technologies
- Production of technical drawings and models using CAD and Revit (training provided if required)
- Carrying out calculations using software such as Amtech, Dialux, or similar
- Liaising with clients, architects, and other stakeholders across project stages
- Attending site visits and surveys, supporting the preparation of reports and technical documentation
- Contributing to the delivery of projects on time and within budget
- Supporting junior team members and collaborating with the wider M&E design team
What You’ll Need
- Degree or HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or similar
- 1–5 years of experience in an electrical building services design role
- Knowledge of relevant UK regulations and industry standards (e.g., BS7671, CIBSE guidelines)
- Familiarity with design and calculation tools (e.g., Relux, Dialux, Amtech, Revit, AutoCAD)
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to team collaboration
- Ability to manage your own workload and work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Full UK driving licence
