Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mobile Plant Fitter to join our team. The role involves working on heavy plant machinery including excavators, dumpers, telehandlers, and rollers, covering across London and surrounding counties. The working hours are 45 hours a week, Monday to Friday from 7am to 5pm, with options for overtime at 1.5x or 2x for nights. The role offers a competitive basic salary of up to £50,000, 28 days holiday including banks, a company van, laptop, and a standard pension scheme.

Responsibilities

• Conducting maintenance, repairs, and servicing on heavy plant machinery
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out necessary repairs
• Conducting thorough inspections and identifying any potential issues
• Ensuring all work is carried out to a high standard and in line with health and safety regulations

Experience

• Proven experience as a Plant Fitter with a strong focus on heavy plant machinery
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work
• Full UK driving license

Day-to-day

• Travelling to various sites across the south of England to carry out maintenance and repairs
• Completing necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and in a timely manner
• Ensuring the company van and equipment are kept in good condition
