HGV Class 1 Driver - Nights

Job Title: HGV Class 1 Night Truck Driver

Location: Essex

Salary: Up to £853.39 p/w

Job Type: Permanent, Full time

The Role:

We are looking to fulfil a driving role for a Class 1 night truck driver, based in Purfleet, Essex to run our Double Decker night truck to our Midlands Hub. Monday - Friday 7pm - 5am

Key Duties:

To drive Company vehicles as and when required around and between sites, and to be flexible to perform other transport-related duties as required

• Deliver freight from our depot in Purfleet to our Midlands Hub
• Ensure all goods are secure when loaded
• Any other duties which the role may require
• Bonus payable if you hold a valid ADR licence.

Skills/Knowledge and Experience:

• HGV C+E licence required
• Excellent communication skills
• Good time management skills
• Health and safety awareness
• Previous pallet industry experience (advantageous)
• Knowledge of driving laws and working time regulations
• Sound geographical knowledge
• Understanding of vehicle maintenance
