Salary: Up to £65k (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities

• Statutory Accounts Preparation Oversee the preparation of statutory accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Month-End and Year-End Close Lead financial close processes, ensuring timely and precise reporting.
• Strategic Financial Guidance Provide clients with valuable financial insights to support decision-making.
• Process Optimisation Work with cross-functional teams to enhance processes and improve efficiency.
• Regulatory Compliance Stay up to date with regulatory changes and ensure full compliance with tax laws.
• Mentorship Support and mentor junior team members, fostering their professional development.

Qualifications & Skills

• ACCA or ACA Qualified/Near Qualified Strong professional credentials.
• Experience Proven track record in an accounting firm.
• Accounting Knowledge Deep understanding of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
• Software Proficiency Competent in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with QuickBooks and/or Xero is a plus.
• Analytical Skills Strong analytical abilities with keen attention to detail.
• Communication Skills Excellent interpersonal and client relationship management skills.
• Adaptability Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities effectively.
