KS2 Primary Teacher

An Ofsted rated 'good' school in Berkhamsted are looking for someone to join their friendly and nurturing team as a KS2 Primary Teacher from January. The spacious school is situated on a large site with extensive grounds, comprising two playing fields, a wild garden, a static fitness equipment area, a large playground with a range of play equipment. In this role you will be responsible for planning, preparing and organising lesson resources, alongside delivering high-quality education and enrichment of holistic development for children. The school aims to provide the highest quality of education for all children, in an environment that is challenging, motivating, caring and moral through the delivery of a creative curriculum. From the off-set the school will encourage you to create a caring and disciplined environment in which each child's well-being is valued and viewed as an individual.

Salary: £150 - £240 per day

Key skills the ideal candidate will have:

• A passion for creating and delivering enriching lessons through an interactive approach
• A thorough understanding of different pedagogical approaches of learning
• Good time management and organisational skills
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Able to establish positive relationships with students and teachers
• Must have a qualified teaching status (QTS)
• Able to commute to Berkhamsted
