VMware Architect - MUST HOLD A VALID SC OR DV CLEARANCE

Are you an experienced VMware Architect looking for your next challenge? We're seeking a highly skilled contractor to join our team in Stevenage on a long-term project. This will start on site and move into a remote/hybrid role after short time frame.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Design, implement, and support VMware vSphere and vSAN, ideally with vSAN Express Storage Architecture (ESA)
• Plan, regulate, test, and maintain computer operations and integrations
• Produce technical documentation, procedures, and new solutions
• Work collaboratively with support teams to meet contractual requirements
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by ensuring needs are met within the agreed support framework
• Contribute to team milestones, SLAs, and KPIs

What We're Looking For:

• Strong expertise in VMware vSphere and vSAN
• Good understanding of IT integration, support, and team collaboration
• Effective communication skills to work with technical and business teams
• Ability to work within a multi-skilled engineering team

Desirable Skills (Nice to Have):

• VMware v8
• Windows Server 2022, Active Directory, AD GPOs
• SCOM, WSUS, MECM
• SQL Server, Blackberry UEM, Trellix ePO
• PKI, HP OneView, Ansible
• Microsoft Exchange, Cohesity Backup, GitLab
• Skype for Business, RSA SecurID, PowerShell scripting
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux, including Satellite
