Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer
Location: Harlow, Essex
Salary/Benefits: 25k - 35k + Training & Benefits
Our client is a leading name within the Water Hygiene / Legionella industry. They have a nationwide presence and varied portfolio of client contracts. The ideal candidate would have a diverse skillset, in order to adapt to changing company requirements. It would also be beneficial to have minor remedial / closed system experience, but this would not be essential. Salaries are competitive and would reflect the applicant's experience. Locations of work include: Harlow, Epping, Cheshunt, Chigwell, Enfield, Romford, Ilford, Barking, Rainham, Billericay, Chelmsford, Basildon, Wickford, Grays, Rayleigh, Bishop's Stortford, Colchester, Welwyn Garden City, Hatfield, Potters Bar, Hitchin, Cambridge, Royston, Haverhill, Sudbury, Bury St Edmunds, Stowmarket, Ipswich, Thetford, Ely, Newmarket.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Applicants must have experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer for a well-established outfit
- Well-versed in ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
- Ideally will have worked across a mixed portfolio of sites, such as: Commercial, Local Authority and Domestic
- Able to use a tablet to input data and complete reports
- Good written ability
- Professional manner, especially when dealing with clients
The Role:
- You will be completing a wide range of Water Hygiene duties across a wide range of client sites
- TMV servicing & repairs
- Showerhead disinfections
- CWST inspections, cleans & disinfections
- Calorifier descales
- Writing works reports outlining works completed
- Travelling as per company requirements
- Supporting new members of the team with training
- Working to agreed deadlines
