Teacher of Geography

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, innovative and highly qualified Teacher of Geography to work in our aspiring Geography department .You will provide inclusive support to ensure students have full access to the curriculum and help them foster a love for Geography.

We're a friendly and supportive department who love sharing ideas and creating engaging lessons. The successful candidate will be able to teach Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential for KS5. The Geography department at Crayford Academy is going from strength to strength and we would love you to join our team:

• It is one of the most successful departments within the Academy with a GCSE progress score of 0.27.
• We run field trips for all year groups (7-13) with an international field trip to Iceland in 2024 and another planned for 2026.
• We have a fully planned curriculum for all year groups, with collaborative planning, and resources shared within the department.
• We are very popular with pupils, with over 120 pupils choosing to study Geography at KS4 in year 10 and we are expecting a similar result for the next cohort of year 10's.
