Electrical Engineer - WD6 (Pharmaceutical Site)

Location: WD6

Contract Type: Temporary Option to go Permanent

Pay Rate: Up to £25 - £28 per hour (Umbrella PAYE)

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team on a critical pharmaceutical site. This role requires a strong technical background and the ability to work in a highly regulated environment.

Required Qualifications & Certifications

• Recognised Electrical Qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, JIB)
• City & Guilds 17th Edition in Electrical Installations (18th Edition preferred)
• City & Guilds Test & Inspection Certification 2391 or equivalent

Knowledge & Experience

• Strong understanding of building electrical systems, including:
• Emergency lighting
• Fire alarms
• Power distribution
• Building Management Systems (BMS)
• Experience with Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance
• Familiarity with BS standards relevant to electrical systems
• Experience working with business-critical equipment
• Comfortable with electrical systems documentation and compliance

Desirable

• Previous experience in a pharmaceutical or similar critical environment
