Project Worker

An esteemed service in the Camden area seeks an experienced Complex Needs Project Worker to provide vital support within a high-support hostel for both men and women. The service supports individuals with complex needs, including mental health challenges, substance misuse, and related issues.

Duties shall include:

• Holding a caseload of up to 8 clients, delivering structured keywork and support planning

• Conducting comprehensive risk and needs assessments

• Responding to referrals in a timely and efficient manner

• Identifying care pathways and supporting access to treatment services

• Advocating for service users and signposting to appropriate agencies

• Engaging with external stakeholders and community groups

• Supporting clients with benefit claims, budgeting, and tenancy sustainment

• Ensuring the timely re-letting of voids to maximise project income

• Promoting psychological resilience within a trauma-informed setting

• Assisting with housing management tasks, including health and safety checks

Essential requirements:

• Demonstrable experience supporting adults with complex needs (mental health, substance misuse, offending history, trauma, etc.)

• Knowledge of supported accommodation frameworks and trauma-informed practice

• Strong background in personalised assessment, support planning, and casework

• Confident and calm in crisis situations, with an analytical and creative approach

• Understanding of recovery-focused models and Psychologically Informed Environments (PIE)

• Ability to motivate and engage service users in structured activities and treatment pathways

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience using case management systems

• Prior experience with Inform (essential)
