Management Accountant

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our Accounting & Finance department. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in preparing, developing, and analysing key financial information to support decision-making processes within the Industrial / Manufacturing sector.

Description

• Preparing accurate monthly management accounts
• Analysing financial performance and contributing to medium and long-term business planning/forecasts
• Financial Reporting for the Sales / Commercial teams.
• Offering professional judgement on financial matters and advising on ways of improving business performance
• Interpreting and communicating financial data to non-financial managers
• Implementing corporate governance procedures, risk management and internal controls
• Collaborating with the wider finance team
• Documenting and monitoring internal controls in support of auditing team
• Coordinating more complex accounting projects and initiatives with other members of the accounting and finance team

Profile

A successful Management Accountant should have:

• A degree or similar qualification in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Professional certification (e.g. Part Qualified / Finalist CIMA, ACCA)
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel) and familiarity with relevant accounting software
• Comprehensive knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
• Strong analytic skills with an attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills / Some Business Partnering
• Ability to work in a team and to build strong working relationships
• 4 days in the office 1 day wfh
