As a Second in Department - English Teacher, you should:

• Be an outstanding teacher with a passion for English and literature
• Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have recent teaching experience
• Have the ability to inspire students across all key stages
• Be able to support the Head of Department in the development of the department
• Possess leadership skills with the ability to manage staff
• Be committed to high standards of teaching, assessment, and student achievement
• Contribute to the extracurricular activities and initiatives of the English Department
• Have a collaborative, flexible, and positive approach
