About the RoleWe are seeking an enthusiastic and inspiring Dance Teacher to join a supportive network of schools in Greenwich. This is a fantastic temporary opportunity to work in a borough with a diverse range of high-achieving secondary schools and sixth forms.

This role requires a specialist who is confident and experienced in teaching Key Stage 5 (KS5). You will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging lessons that prepare students for their A-Levels or BTECs, building on the strong performing arts traditions found in many of our local schools.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality Dance lessons to KS5 students, ensuring lessons are differentiated and inclusive.

• Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential in both practical and theoretical components of the course.

• Assess, track, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback.

• Work collaboratively with the Performing Arts department to contribute to the wider life of the school, potentially including extra-curricular clubs or showcase events.

What We Are Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant specialism in Dance or Performing Arts.

• Proven experience teaching Dance at KS5, with a strong understanding of A-Level or BTEC specifications.

• A creative and passionate teacher with excellent classroom management skills.

• The ability to build strong relationships with students and staff to hit the ground running in a temporary position.
