We are working closely with a professional and long-standing provider of Fire Risk / Health and Safety services in the London / South East Region. Due to growth and success, they are now seeking to take on a hardworking and experienced Fire Risk Assessor / Consultant to join their team. Covering Commercial, Residential, & Industrial sites you will be carrying out risk assessments in line with relevant Health and Safety guidelines. You will also be responsible for providing clients with excellent consultancy support and advice, ensuring to deal with any queries in a timely manner, and providing clients with in-depth, site-specific reports. Our client can offer a company vehicle, paid milage, and the opportunity for further training and progression.
Candidates will have good access to London / South East and the surrounding areas: Barking, Ilford, Dagenham, Romford, Hornchurch, Erith, Bexleyheath, Dartford, Sidcup, Bromley, Orpington, Grays, Tilbury, Gravesend, Croydon, Sevenoaks, Croydon, Mitcham, Sutton, Epsom, Redhill, Horley, Crawley, Tonbridge, Maidstone, Rainham, Chatham.
Experience & Qualifications:
" Holding the Level 3 Fire Risk Assessing qualification is desirable.
" Holding an industry related qualification e.g. NEBOSH General / Fire Certificate (or equivalent) is essential to the role.
" Being a member of IOSH / IFE / IFSM / IFPO would be beneficial to the role.
" Experience working within an established Fire / Health and Safety company as a Fire Risk Assessor / Consultant is essential to the role.
" Will have excellent communication skills.
" Able to organise workload in line with company and client needs.
" Well versed in industry relevant guidelines and Health and Safety legislation.
The Role:
" Attending a varied portfolio of clients, carrying out Fire Risk assessments.
" Visiting various site to undertake pre-occupation surveys, evacuation plans & site-specific surveys.
" Delivering training on creating site specific fire plan drawings, fire drills, fire warden training, use of fire extinguishers and real fire training.
" Undertaking briefing and delivering training courses.
" Providing guidance on fire and safety.
" Investigating incidents.
" Providing clients with detailed fire risk assessment reports.
" Liaising with clients, providing them with excellent technical support and advice.
