About Us:

We are working with a Catholic, three-form entry school in the London Borough of Havering. From after October half-term, they are looking for a long-term Year 5 Teacher. The successful Year 5 Teacher will be committed to providing high-quality education and fostering a positive learning environment for the children. Key Responsibilities:

• Ability to work successfully as part of a team as a Year 5 Teacher
• Raise standards for all pupils, including underachieving pupils
• Promote positive behaviour conducive to learning, focused on raising standards
• Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback accordingly.
• Contribute to the wider initiatives within the school.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• QTS or equivalent
• At least 2 years' experience
• Excellent understanding of the National Curriculum
• Prior experience as a Year 5 Teacher
• UK classroom-based experience
