Trainee / Assistant Site Manager - Roofing Project

Our client is a roofing specialist main contractor. They undertake projects in Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire and London. They have been established for a number of years and are frequent winners of top 50 companies to work for.

We are recruiting a trainee / Assistant Site Manager to work alongside an existing site manager on a project in Bedford. The project is vast roof repairs on a vacant school. The project will run for roughly 10 weeks, on completion of this project you will be allocated to a new project.

Day to day responsibilities will include, but not be limited to;

• Issuing site permits
• Conducting site inductions
• Reviewing RAMs as well as all health and safety documentation
• Supervisor site roofers
• Progress reporting to the site manager

This role begins on Monday the 10th February, you will need the following construction tickets to be considered for this role:

• SMSTS
• First Aid
• CSCS Card
• Asbestos Awareness (UKATA)
• Working from Height
• Manual Handling
• Enhanced DBS
