TONE Scaffolding Services provide effective solutions to challenging access, support and protection requirements at good value for clients. The expansion of the Company has been due to the hard work and expertise of TONE's directly employed staff and we now have a vacancy for an exceptional individual to join our finance team.

Due to an internal promotion, we are looking for an individual to work alongside the Financial Controller in a dynamic, thriving business that has seen significant growth in the last few years. If you enjoy diving into financial details and providing essential support to the finance team then this role could be for you.

As a bookkeeper you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting various accounting tasks.

This role will include but not be limited to:

• Assisting the Financial Controller with the production of various management accounts
• Knowledge and experience in CIS, including submitting monthly returns to HMRC
• Multiple reconciliations
• Management of HP accounts
• Management of fixed asset register
• Internal auditing
• VAT and PAYE accounts control and returns
• Holiday cover for purchase ledger and payroll
• Some supervision of finance team

We would like to hear from applicants who:

• Hold a relevant AAT/ACCA qualification/qualified by experience
• Have excellent working knowledge of Sage 50/Sage 200/Sage Payroll/Eque2 and Microsoft Office
• Have meticulous attention to detail
• Display excellent analytical skills
• Have staff management experience and the ability to manage their own workload whilst overseeing that of a team

Salary is competitive and fully DOE.

Previous experience of working in the construction industry would be advantageous as would some practical internal audit knowledge
