Azure Solution Architect

Azure Solutions Architect Outside IR35 Midlands / London Remote £450 per day

We're supporting a client looking to engage an experienced AzureSolutions Architect to spearhead an independent piece of work. This is an Outside IR35 engagement revolving around Datacentres and Azure Local Cloud deployments.

Skills & Experience

• A minimum of 8-10 years working in infrastructure and cloud-focused architecture roles
• Deep understanding of Microsoft Azure services, especially Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), Lighthouse, networking, and compute
• Proficient in virtualisation technologies across VMware, Windows/Linux, and enterprise-grade storage (e.g., NetApp, Isilon)
• Familiarity with enterprise hardware solutions (HPE, Dell) and vendor lifecycle processes
• Solid grasp of secure network design involving vendors like Cisco and F5
• Previous experience delivering in heavily regulated sectors with complex compliance demands
• Proven ability to produce high-quality documentation: HLDs, LLDs, SOPs, implementation guides
• Confident facilitating client sessions and guiding technical governance
• Preferred certifications include Microsoft AZ-305 or TOGAF (or similar)
• Need to be technically hands-on but still working within Solution Architecture
• Working in Large Enterprise would be a bonus

Contract Details

• Day rate: £450 per day
• Outside IR35
• 9 month contract
• Remote, with occasional site visits to Birmingham / London
