Project Planning Manager
£350 to £550 per day (Outside IR35) London (3 days p/w) Initial 4 month contract

The Opportunity:

An industry-first opportunity for a Project Planning Manager to ensure the successful transition of the ownership status of an award-winning train operating company based in London.

This is a high-impact position that requires strong project management skills and expertise in rail contract mobilisation/demobilisation. You will be instrumental in ensuring a smooth financial and operational handover.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate across Finance and IT teams on post-transfer finance activities
• Coordinate with other demobilisation workstreams and other stakeholders as required on other business post-transfer activities
• Prepare the business plan for post-transfer activities
• Define the finance systems that will be needed to deliver that plan
• Define the practical support that will be needed from the relevant governing body
• Support defining any new governance arrangements for post-transfer
• Liaise with the programme team and an Exit Working Group to ensure that any enabling activity to be delivered pre-transfer is actioned
• Ensure that the Draft Handover Agreement aligns with the Post Transfer plan

Essential Criteria:

• Experience project managing the financial elements of the mobilisation/demobilisation of Rail contracts.

• Proven ability to engage with both internal and external key stakeholders.
• Successful track record of ensuring key milestones on projects and able to coordinate different business areas.
