English Teacher

A welcoming and well-resourced secondary school in Wooburn Green is seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join their team from January 2026. The school offers a supportive environment, excellent facilities, and a commitment to high academic standards. You'll be teaching across KS3 to KS5, inspiring students to develop a love for language and literature.

What you'll be doing:

• Delivering high-quality English lessons across KS3-KS5
• Planning engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to all learners
• Assessing and tracking student progress
• Supporting GCSE and A-Level preparation
• Contributing to the wider life of the department and school

What we're looking for:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service - essential and non-negotiable
• Relevant UK-based teaching experience - essential
• Experience teaching English up to KS5
• A creative and reflective teaching style
