Role Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Timber Floor Layer to join Paddy Handcrafted Flooring, working exclusively on luxury residential properties. If you have a passion for craftsmanship and take pride in delivering top-tier timber flooring installations, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

- Laying and finishing timber flooring to the highest standards in prestigious homes.
- Working with a variety of timber species and styles, including solid, overlay, & engineered wood, and bespoke finishes.
- Preparing subfloors, levelling works, and ensuring flawless installations.
- Ensuring every project is completed with meticulous attention to detail and precision.
- Collaborating with designers, project managers, and clients to meet specific requirements.
- Maintaining a tidy, safe, and organised work area.
- Providing expert advice and recommendations to clients regarding timber floor care and maintenance.

Key Requirements:

- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a timber floor layer, with a strong portfolio of high-end residential projects.
- Proven expertise in installing, sanding, and finishing various types of timber flooring.
- Excellent understanding of subfloor preparation and timber installation techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to achieving perfect results.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Own tools and transportation are preferred, but not essential.
- Strong communication skills and a professional approach to client interactions.
