Fit Out Site Manager

Day Rate/Salary:

• Temporary: 280 per day
• Permanent: 62,000 - 65,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Start Date: Mid-January

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Fit-Out Site Manager for a high-end fit-out project in London. This position can be filled on either a temporary or permanent basis, offering flexibility to suit the right candidate. The role involves overseeing the delivery of a fast-paced fit-out project, with significant paperwork, coordination, and programming responsibilities. Candidates with prior hands-on experience in construction, particularly in fit-out or refurbishment projects, are highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of site operations for a high-quality fit-out project.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors, ensuring project milestones and quality standards are met.
• Handle paperwork, permits, and compliance documentation to ensure smooth operations.
• Supervise site activities to meet project deadlines while maintaining strict health and safety standards.
• Utilise programming skills for scheduling, workflow management, and reporting.
• Maintain clear communication with clients, subcontractors, and the wider project team.

Project Type:

The project involves the fit-out of a high-end space, requiring strong organisational, technical, and managerial capabilities.

Work Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, standard site management hours.

Mandatory Qualifications and Certifications:

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following:

• SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
• CSCS Managers Card
• First Aid at Work Certificate
• Asbestos Awareness Certification

Experience:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on high-end fit-out or refurbishment projects.
• Prior hands-on experience in construction, particularly in a practical trade, is highly desirable.
• Strong programming skills are essential for managing workflows and reporting.
