Class Teacher

Job Title: Teacher- primary/secondary.

Salary: £32,916-£51,048 if permanent, long term/supply is £130-£160

Location: Portsmouth, Hampshire

Type: Permanent, Full-Time/ long term/day to day.

Start Date: January 2026.

Role Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated geography teacher to join their team. This permanent role is perfect for someone passionate about the physical and social processes and how they have influenced the world we live in today, and teaching this to their students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons and deliver to students.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share teaching strategies.
• Participate in school activities and events.
• Build positive relations with each class to encourage engagement.
• Communicate with parents about behaviour if necessary and on parent's evenings.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching a subject at the secondary/primary level.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students.
• A commitment to continuous professional development.
