About the Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

• Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teachers, ensuring students remain on task and engaged.
• Deliver pre-planned lessons and activities, following clear instructions provided by the school.
• Maintain a positive and safe learning environment, managing student behaviour effectively.
• Provide feedback to teachers on student engagement and progress.
• Adapt to different school environments and age groups.
• Be able to follow safeguarding procedures.

What We Are Looking For:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong classroom management abilities.
• A flexible and adaptable approach.
• A genuine interest in working with young people.
• The ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Reliability and punctuality.
• DBS on the update service or the willingness to obtain one.
• Previous experience working with young people (desirable).
