Vanta Staffing are the exclusive staffing partner to an amazing buidlers merchants who provide a complete one stop shop for their commercial customers.

Now looking to bolster their maintenance team with an experienced all round Service Technician

Duties of the successful Service Technician will include:

• Carry out quality checks on inbound & out bound machines & equipment
• Provide fault diagnostic on electrical, hydraulic, mechanical & pneumatic systems
• Repair or replace where neded
• Ensure that planned maintenance initiatives are carried out effectively
• To contribute to the health and safety of the site
• Monitor, order & control stock
• Ensure that ALL SOP s meet health and safety requirements
• Typical hours, Monday to Friday, 40hour week (days, some flexibility)

The Successful Service Technician will enjoy;

Required experience & characteristics of the Service Technician

• Proven experience repairing & maintaining construction equipment (paint sprayers, screed sprayers, generators)
• Experienced in successfully completing multi-skilled repairs in mechanical and / or electrical/electronic engineering environments.
• Mechanical, pneumatic or electrical engineering-based qualification a distinct advantage
• Good communication capability
• Experience of working with manufacturing environments
• Highly focused on quality, safety and managing the working environment.
• Strong command of the English Language
• Enthusiastic, polite & professional character
