Administrator/Receptionist - Office Operations & Conference SupportLocation: Central London (Office-Based 5 days a week)

Overview: A well-established organisation based in Central London is seeking a proactive and personable Administrator/Receptionist to join their Support Team. This varied and hands-on role involves supporting day-to-day office operations, managing conference and meeting spaces, and providing front-of-house reception duties. You'll be the first point of contact for staff, tenants, and visitors, helping to ensure the smooth running of the building. This is a fully office-based role, ideal for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and interacting with a wide range of people.

Key Responsibilities:Reception & Office Operations:

  • Provide reception cover and maintain a welcoming, professional front-of-house presence.
  • Act as the first point of contact for building-related queries, including those from tenants.
  • Ensure Hotdesk areas are functional and resolve or escalate basic IT issues.
  • Answer incoming calls and handle general enquiries.
  • Maintain the reception area, including stocking and tidying refreshments.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing post and courier bookings.
  • Support the Office Manager in maintaining a pleasant and efficient working environment.

  • Conference Suite Management:
  • Set up flexible meeting spaces according to daily requirements.
  • Provide basic AV and IT support for meetings and events.
  • Ensure meeting supplies and refreshments are available and well-presented.
  • Coordinate catering orders and assist with layout and presentation.
  • Reset rooms between bookings and maintain cleanliness.
  • Liaise with internal and external users to confirm event details and requirements.
  • Assist with staffing plans for events and contribute to the development of conference suite systems.

  • Administrative Support:
  • Assist with diary management, meeting arrangements, and travel bookings.
  • Provide ad-hoc clerical support to other teams as needed.

  • Physically able to support room setup and other manual tasks.
