About the Role:

Teacher Active is seeking a passionate and dedicated MFL (Modern Foreign Languages) Teacher with a specialism in French to join School Name for a maternity cover position starting as soon as possible. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and engage students in their language learning journey within a supportive and dynamic school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality lessons in French to students across various year groups.
• Develop and implement engaging and innovative teaching strategies to enhance student learning.
• Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to promote improvement.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive curriculum and share best practices.
• Maintain effective communication with parents regarding student progress and any concerns.

Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A degree in Modern Foreign Languages or a related subject.
• Strong knowledge of the French language and culture.
• Previous teaching experience in a secondary school setting is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their potential.
