SEN Teacher - Camden

Are you a fully qualified teacher with an interest in joining a SEN school where you can be fully supported?
This is a fantastic opportunity for a SEN Teacher to join an SEN school in the Camden area. This role is to start immediately on a full-time basis with an opportunity to become permanent. Within this role you'll be supporting students who exhibit signs of ASC and SLD.
- Teaching SEN children and young people with Autism/ASC, Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), and Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
- Primary and Secondary aged children
- Small class settings

- Provides a stimulating learning environment and promotes a vision of Independence, Communication, Wellbeing and Achievement
- Focuses on providing creative and artistic learning environments
- Fully qualified mainstream primary and secondary teachers with an interest in moving into a SEN school are encouraged to apply

Ideal candidate
- The successful SEN Teacher must have QTS or QTLS and have experience of teaching SEN pupils, particularly with ASC/Autism and SLD/PMLD.
- Many pupils have Speech and Language Communication Needs (SLCN) and will use alternative communication methods such as Makaton and PECs.
- You will be teaching whole class lessons, working with small groups and supporting pupils individually.
Due to the nature of the students, a patient, caring, compassionate and flexible approach is needed.
