Quantity Surveyor

The cladding and facade division of a leading contractor in the construction industry is on an exciting growth trajectory. With a forecasted increase in turnover from 35m to 60m by next year, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking company. The company undertakes large-scale projects, with contract sizes ranging from 10m to 20m, offering excellent prospects for professional development and career progression.

The scope of works vary depending on projects but sectors include:

• Residential
• Education
• Healthcare
• Mixed use developments
• Commercial

With this being said, the company is looking to recruit both Quantity and Senior Quantity Surveyors for the business.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A solid understanding of JCT contracts
• Experience in cladding packages.
• Rigorous processes and strong communication and negotiation skills, in line with up to date rates and requirements.
• Cost reporting experience, as well as forecasting.
• Experience submitting and understanding the new BSR applications process.

The role will be a combination of office and site based, with all of their work in and around London.
