Role Summary
The client are seeking a dynamic and skilled Audio Visual Installation Engineer to enhance their technical operations based in Surrey. This role focuses on assisting the engineering team with the installation, maintenance, and support of Smart Home Automation and security systems.

Key Responsibilities

• First-fix of installations including structured cabling, containment systems, and harward mounting in line with installation plans.
• Second-fix installation of a broad range of equipment.
• Program and configure residential control systems (including Lutron Homeworks, Crestron Home, Savant, Control4 and KNX).
• Implement enterprise-grade networking solutions.
• Perform comprehensive system testing and fault finding.
• Liaise effectively with Senior Management.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Demonstrated experience in maintaining and setting up TV and satellite systems.
• Proficient in programming software for lighting and AV control systems.
• Strong background in IT and networking, including the configuration of switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Knowledge of Ubiquiti Unifi is an advantage.
• Hands-on experience with CCTV and NVR systems installation and maintenance.
• Familiarity with AV and network rack setup.

Qualifications

• Relevant technical certifications or qualifications in engineering or computing (BTEC, National Diploma, undergraduate degree, or equivalent).
• A valid, clean UK driving license.

Employment Details
