Freight operations clerk - Multi modal

We are recruiting for a medium sized freight company who are looking for a multi modal operations clerk to join their team. You need a freight background (not shipping or commercial shipping) to be considered for this role.

Its hands on dealing with the customers from the start, including booking transport, bookings with airlines and arranging some sea freight. You will deal with both Imports and exports and the role is fun and varied.

You will be looking at shipping costs, transport costs and arranging routing for shipments, updating the customers and and managing customs clearance.

You should have a strong understanding of the freight business and customs and have top customer service skills.

Salary up to £40k for the right person!
