Working with one other night shift clerk, Dan, you'll enjoy the pace and variety of a Customs Clerk position and not be bothered by the night shift, in fact you will relish the 4 days off in a row.

The responsibilities of the night shift Customs Clerk is to :

A. Manage movement and clearance of goods in and out of UK

B. Ensure timely management of drivers

C. Assist in product development and process improvement

Job outline:

• Communicate with HMRC and other authorities to ensure goods cleared released
• Ensure HMRC rule and regulations are adhered to
• Liaise with customers (both internal and external) to ensure timely
• Ensure company values and strategies are followed
• Feed market information in to business to ensure you offer most competitive service whilst working closely with sales team to grow customer share of wallet

You'll come with at least 18 months experience in HMRC entry processing along with:

• Good HSS code knowledge / classification
• Basic understanding of PECH and DEFRA applications
• Beneficial if you had experience within temperature controlled logistics and knowledge of Cargowise
